Q: What is Dinner MyWay?
A: At the Dinner MyWay kitchen you can prepare family style meals that serve six in a short amount of time. Dinner MyWay employees do all the prep work. All you do is assemble the meals the way your family would like them best. Plus, we are there if you have any questions and we even clean up the mess. When you're finished, you have entrees to take home that are perfect for your busy lifestyle. It couldn't be easier.

Q: How do I make a reservation?
A: You can make a reservation from our reservation page. You must choose a location and create a login profile to make a reservation on our website. If you have any problems, please call 916-435-1987.
Q: What are your hours?
A: Please check the calendar and the location information page for the hours of the location of interest.
Q: How many people does each entrée serve?
A: Each entrée serves 6 people. If a six serving entrée is too large for you then you can assemble most entrées into two 3 serving portions.
Q: Why do I need to give you my credit card information to make a reservation?
A: Your credit card is used to hold your reservation. We do not charge your credit card until you arrive for your reservation. At the time of your session you can choose to pay by credit card, check, or cash. This credit card will be charged if needed as applicable under the terms of our cancellation policy.
Session Questions
Q: Do I need to bring anything to my session?
A: When you come to Dinner MyWay we ask that you bring a cooler or laundry basket with you to take home your meals. You will be taking home quite a bit of food and we have found that a cooler or laundry basket makes traveling home much easier.
Q: How long does a session take?
A: The first time you attend a session at Dinner MyWay it will take you about an hour to prepare 6 meals and about 2 hours to prepare 12 meals. We have found that our regular customers get faster each time they come.
Q: Can I bring my children?
A: Please contact the location you are interested in attending. Each location has its own policy on children depending on space restrictions and local health requirements. Find your location here.
Cooking Dinner MyWay Meals at Home
Q: How long does it take to thaw a Dinner MyWay meal?
A: You should allow for 24 hours of defrost time in your refrigerator. Some thick casserole type dishes may take longer. Also, you should always defrost your Dinner MyWay meals in the refrigerator for food safety reasons.
Q: What if the label falls off of my meal?
A: We give you a master cooking instruction sheet with all of the cooking instructions on it. If a label falls off just refer to it.
Q: Why do you have temperatures on some of your cooking instructions?
A: The minimum temperatures on some cooking instructions are based on food safety regulations. They should be used in conjunction with a meat thermometer to ensure your food is cooked to a safe temperature.
Group Parties
Q: Do you accommodate private parties?
A: At Dinner MyWay we would be happy to arrange a private party session for you and your friends. For minimum order requirements or special group incentives, please contact your local Dinner MyWay. You will receive your own private password for your group to place their own orders. Our standard cancellation policy is still in effect. Please see our cancellation policy. Q: How many people can we bring to a private party?
A: We realize that Dinner MyWay is a fun social environment where friends enjoy being together. We encourage that friends attend together. We ask that if you are sharing a 12 meal session that you bring only 1 friend to help assemble your meals and if you are assembling 6 meals that only 1 person comes to assemble the meals. We ask this so that all of our customers can assemble their meals in a timely fashion and enjoy the experience.
Cancellation Policy
Q: What if I need to cancel an order? What is your cancellation policy?
A: You may cancel any order up to 48 hours in advance. If you wish to cancel less the 48 hours prior to your order there will be a $30 charge for a 6 meal order or a $50 charge for a 12 meal order. If you're canceling a self serve order we would be happy to assemble your meals for you at our next scheduled pick up time for an additional assembly fee ($30 for 6 meals and $50 for 12 meals).
Q: What if I need to reschedule my reservation or make a change to my order?
A: If you need to make any changes to your reservation or order, please do so by logging on to our website and updating your order through your account page. If you have any questions please call the location associated with your order.
